The Great Plains Convention

2010 Great Plains LTC Reference Manual

The 2010 GPLTC manual is available here. Join our email list (click on the button on our Home page) to be notified when any updates to the 2010 manual become available.

This book contains all of the guidelines for church coordinators, coaches, and students for LTC and all of its events. Each participating congregation is authorized to download a copy and make as many copies as required to enact this program at their local congregation. This update includes the following changes:

p. 31 Correction of Video Bible deadline to Convention 2 deadline
p. 82 All t-shirts now cost $10.00 apiece.
p. 25 Deleted line about essay from Digital Photography
p. 54 For Elementary Bible Bowl only, there will be three rounds of 25 questions each. The maximum possible team score for each round is 100 points.
p. 59 Bible Reading, Extemporaneous is an entry-level event. It is an event intended to challenge young people to try the experience of reading in public, and then move on to grow by participating in other more difficult events. Students in grades 3-8, or students in Challenge LTC, are always able to participate. Students in grades 9-12 may participate for one year only (including the 2009 Convention).

SR - the Student Registration form is available as a PDF (28 KB) or Word Document (19 KB).
PTEPL - Preconvention Team Participant List as a PDF (15 KB). Word Document - PTEPL (12 KB).
Team Event Participant List - PDF Format. TEPL - Word Document, 16 KB. You will need to save this file as a Word document (even if it gives you an error message or looks odd), then you will be able to see the document properly in Microsoft Word and fill out the blanks for each of your teams.
Judging Forms for Art - Please print out three of these for each of your submissions and fill out the headers in advance to expedite your entry time at Rogers.

Bible Bowl - To help those who are studying for the Bible Bowl event, GPLTC is posting copies of 2005's Bible Bowl test (Luke) so that teachers can understand the form of the test used for this event. To down load a portion of each test in PDF format (these files range in size from 44 to 62 KB), click on the Round numbers below.

3rd - 6th grade: Round One; Round Two; Round Three
7th - 12th grade: Round One; Round Two; Round Three

Bible Quiz - To help those preparing for Bible Bowl and Bible Quiz, GPLTC is posting a PDF copy of 2005's Bible Quiz test (Luke) so that teachers can see the type of testing that is conducted during this event. Both 3-6th grade test and the 7-12th grade tests are available.
